I am the new administrative coach at the Valleyview Skating Club and I am excited and thrilled to be a part of this diverse club, working with all the different levels and talents of skaters. I am originally from Victoria, BC and started skating at the age of two years. I have skated up to Junior Ladies Competitive Singles and have competed in two national competitions in Gold triathlon. As well, I skated and toured with Disney On Ice. I enjoy all aspects of coaching skating but I particularly love choreography. On the other side of the skating world, I enjoy hiking, biking and I am also a hairstylist at Changes Hair Studio. |

I have been with the Valleyview Skating Club since January 2010 working with the PreCanSkate, CanSkate and private lesson skaters. I have enjoyed immensely being back on the ice as a coach. Previously I taught with the South Okanagan Skating Club in Oliver in 1998 for a season and also worked with a hockey team for that year and the following year. Before that I was the coach of the Silver Blades Skating Club in Ashcroft from the Fall of 1983 until the Spring of 1998. During my years off from skating I raised 3 beautiful daughters in Oliver and today they are 24, 22 and 19 years old. I worked for the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen and here in Kamloops I work for the City of Kamloops in the Revenue Dept. |
